On Meet the Press Sunday, Valerie Jarrett, Co-Chair of the Obama-Biden transition team stated “given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.”
Take power? Begin to rule?
Kings and emperors rule, Presidents lead the people. President elect Obama should remember that he governs at the will of the people.

Mr Obama has already stated that he would like to see the Constitution declare that government “do” things for people (which is exactly the opposite intent of the Constitution). Does he now wish to crumple up the Declaration of Independence and throw that away?
What exactly does Mr. Obama like about America? Mull it over.
